I love the Treasure Hunt at thrift stores. I google thrift, charity and consignment stores whenever I travel. Here in Raleigh I sell real estate so I'm all over town. I know where all the stores are located. I run through on a regular basis and just wanted to share. Somethings I re-sell,many I use to stage homes or give them to clients. In this economy it's even more special. I've given speeches on thrifting and coached friends and family on a successful "HUNT".

Plant Stands!
OK, they are old "smoking toys". The left that one was an ash tray. On the right they called it a smoking stand. When it comes to wrought iron I call it my deck decor. They were both $5.00 a piece at GW.
Numbered print by Kim Parker
Wow, what a find! Kim Parker is an internationally renowed textile designer, author, illustrator and painter. Her studio is in NYC.
She's be upset that I just paid $8.00 for this print at GW in Cary NC.
A great day of showing beautiful homes to a buyer in Cary. A quick run through and another treasure. You have to know where the GW's are located! Add the PTA thrift stores to your list when you get near Chapel Hill!

Sweet chair!
How perfect! Just right for my desk. I'm back at GW and it was just $10.00. Lots of little treasures each and everyday. I found a nice little chest and thrilled when young buyers used it in their nursery.
