High Point Furniture Market

Exciting, exhausting and overwhelming..the Furniture Market of High Point.The buyer's come from around the world. Office buildings and homes are filled w/furnishings. Thousands are there for a week in April and Oct.
It's fun to see what's coming next in the way of color, design and decorating.
This simple table decoration caught my eye. The tray is unique but the small bottles one can find anywhere. Try it! A splash of color and style.

NC Artist!

Great timing at GFC! They had just put out a "Judy Crane" painting.I hesitated for a moment. If it was anywhere but Goodwill $75.00 would seem crazy. I commissioned Judy Crane years back to paint renderings of clients homes. They were closings gifts on high end homes and very expensive.
Now I owe a "Judy Crane"! A bit of Springtime all year round!

Second hand furniture store in Durham called Once and Again! It's one of my favorites. This ottoman was on final mark down w/terrible flowered print. Recovered for $75.00. Now ready for a friend's LR!

What a treasure! I found it at a "charity" shop in Durham.
Selling Real Estate in the Triangle keeps me on the road.

I travel with my IPad on the front seat. When I have a a few
minutes I love checking out new areas...google thrift shops
and consignment. Tag sales are another favorite.

This "lovely" was $39.00 at "GCF". It said SOLD! I would have put it in my car! When I see this I can't decide if I'd redo, shabby something, or flip it out of my garage.
Timing is everything. Just run through when you have a minute. I saw 2 ladies this week who were reselling on ebay and Itsy.
Good for them! A fun little hobby to bring in extra income!!
